Manawatu Wheelchair Rugby, in conjunction with NZ Wheelchair Rugby, is hosting Round 1 of the NZ Wheelchair Rugby Championship (WRC).
A full two days of competition commence at 9am on Saturday with teams battling to compete in the finals on Sunday afternoon. The WRC’s see the toughest competition played across NZ’s entire wheelchair rugby season.
This year teams will battle it out for national pride with athletes, volunteer officials, and supporters coming together from across New Zealand. We know that players, officials, supporters, and spectators will enjoy some great wheelchair rugby action over the weekend.
