Sport Manawatū Regional Sports Awards

A celebration of sporting excellence and community impact across the Sport Manawatū region, where grassroots meets greatness. The Regional Sports Awards bring together the legacy of two long-standing celebrations, uniting what were previously separate awards into a single, region-wide event. By combining these awards, we are able to recognise excellence across the full sporting pathway in one inclusive evening, celebrating achievement, leadership and contribution from grassroots to high performance. The result is a stronger, more connected awards programme that reflects the depth, diversity and impact of sport across our communities, where grassroots meets greatness.

We’re excited to welcome the incredible Jenny-May Clarkson as our MC for this year’s Regional Sports Awards! Jenny‑May Clarkson is a respected broadcaster, former elite athlete, and advocate for community and cultural empowerment. A familiar face of New Zealand television, she is known for her authenticity, connection with audiences, and versatile career spanning broadcasting, sport, coaching, and social advocacy. A former New Zealand netball and touch rugby representative, she is deeply committed to Māori kaupapa through her iwi Ngāti Maniapoto and Ngāti Kahu, and supports meaningful causes as an Ambassador for Save the Kiwi and Bowel Cancer NZ.

We look forward to a memorable evening celebrating the people and achievements that make sport in our region so special.
