The Manawatu Art Expo is our region’s premier arts event for artists and art aficionados. It takes place at the Palmerston North Conference and Function Centre in the second weekend of July. A cash and carry event, Expo is an opportunity for members of the public to buy original artwork at affordable prices, directly from the artist.
Visitors can also see live art demos by well-known artists, including this year’s Guest Artist: Vonnie Sterritt.
Vonnie is a well-known Palmerston North-based artist originally from Central Otago. She has a Fine Arts Degree from Canterbury University and is a Post Graduate of Massey University. Her paintings celebrate the colour and light of New Zealand’s unique landscape – particularly those of the Manawatu.
The Manawatu Art Expo will be held this year on the 15th, 16th and 17th of July, 2022.
A preview event will be taking place at 5.30pm on July 14th. Join us for drinks and nibbles, and be the first to see the all the brilliant artwork on display!
