The Elwood Room can comfortably host up to 550 theatre style or up to 350 for a banquet dinner. With portable staging and theatre lighting, it’s easy to create drama to give your event an edge.

Elwood Room 1

A popular venue for smaller meetings or workshops, or as a pre-dinner area. With floor to ceiling dividing curtains to make the room about 150m2, it’s a great space for events with up to 120 people. The space can be adapted to a range of set-ups, from theatre style to workshop, classroom or U-shape. Rear projection can be run from the middle of the curtains, to help create the feeling of an open and inviting room.

Elwood Room 2

A versatile venue which can be tailored to suit all kinds of events, whether it’s an intimate wedding with 30 people or an 8-booth trade show. This space is perfect for events with up to 250 people and can be adapted to a variety of set ups from theatre style, to workshop, classroom or U-shape. Floor to ceiling dividable curtains can be moved anywhere within the room to create just the right space for your event. Rear projection can be run from the middle of the curtains.

The Conference Room can accommodate up to 400 people theatre style and has a permanent stage with unobstructed sight lines.

A floor to ceiling soundproof folding door can divide this space into two self-contained separate rooms – the Conference Room and the smaller Meeting Room.

The Gallery is also used for meetings, workshops and as a breakout area for conferences. It has a permanent bar and is a popular venue for pre-dinner drinks or cocktail functions. This venue has an excellent outlook down George Street and an abundance of natural light. Full blackout curtains can be drawn where necessary for presentations.
