UB40 featuring Ali, Astro and Mickey, adds Palmerston North show to NZ summer run
Due to overwhelming demand UB40 Featuring Ali, Astro & Mickey have added a new show to their 40th Anniversary Tour of New Zealand.
The global reggae hit makers will now also play Central Energy Trust Arena in Palmerston North on Friday, February 8, 2019 with support from the Marley NZ All Stars
2019 marks 40 years since UB40 first performed live. The reggae icons will be celebrating with a ‘greatest hits’ set featuring favourites such as ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Cherry Oh Baby’, ‘Rat In Mi Kitchen’ and ‘Kingston Town’.
MARLEY NZ ALL STARS are confirmed as special guests for the Palmerston North show. This mega cast of Kiwi musicians includes members of Katchafire, Kora, L.A.B plus vocalists Annie Crummer, Ria Hall, Tiki Taane, Laughton Kora, Warren Maxwell and Anna Coddington.
