Giving back to our community

Massey University Veterinary Students’ Association are hosting their second edition of the Community Outreach project: “Family Fun & Pet Education Day”

The veterinary, and veterinary technologist students at Massey University can be found at Barber Hall (Waldegrave Street) on Sunday the 8th Oct from 9am-1pm. Whether you are looking at getting a new puppy to add into the family, or have a senior cat at home, a reptilian or feathered friend, or even a lifestyle block, they will have all of the answers that you are looking for.

Throughout the day, they will have pet demonstrations for tips on training, visits from some special guests, face painting for the kids (Gold coin donation to raise for charity), a bouncy castle, and much more. Bring in some pet food to donate to a local shelter and get a raffle ticket to be in for some great prizes.

Grab the van, pick up your kids, partner, grandparents and friends (but leave your pets at home), and we will see you there.
